I'm off to Libya for a month and expect I'll be rather bored at times so was thikning about buying a small, portable laptop or notebook. However I know every little about these things so was hoping someone could either recommend a machine or at least tell me what type of components I should be buying.
I guess the key factors are weight and size (need it to be as light / slim / small as possible hence considering a notebook). Also want it to be able to power Photoshop as ideally play WoW (Although I doubt I'll get decent conenciton in Tripoli - it's more for when I'm back).
Whats up. I bought an alienware laptop for myself recently although mine wont fit your portable requirement, the on I got for my wife mx11 should be just fine for what you need. If you choose to buy one buy it from the US website (dell.com) as it is about 2.5 times cheaper as dell is runing some sort of weird scheme to try and rip of europeans, you will need to use a forwarding service like Myus.com in order to get it from them.
